If you want discord-irc relay by me with the BEST code ever, do the following
- Get with me in PM and tell me that you want an discord-irc relay
- Go to the discord developers applications page
- Create an Application (button New Application in top right)
- Give it the name as wanted
- Go to the tab "Bot" at the left menu below Settings
- Click on "Add Bot" and copy the Token and paste into the PM with me
- Go to the tab "Oauth2" and then select the subtab called "URL Generator"
- Do the following steps:
- At "SCOPES" you select "bot"
- Select then at "BOT PERMISSIONS" at least the following thing: "View Channels", "Send Messages"; "Mention everyone" is optional to choose but recommended
- Click on the "Copy" button at the bottom of the page.
- Open a new browser tab and paste the url.
- Choose your server to add the bot to.
- Verify you are a human and then close the tab if Discord says you can do it
9. Send Me in PM what IRC server you want your bot to be connected to.
10. Wait until I get it connected and I will msg you that its online
